# Introduction

An overview of the MFY protocol, its purpose, ecosystem structure, and on-chain transparency model.

MFY is a Web3 RewardFi protocol built on Polygon PoS, designed to combine decentralized participation, automated reward mechanics, lottery-based interactions, smart contract infrastructure, and on-chain transparency.

The protocol was created to provide a transparent participation layer where users can interact with ecosystem mechanics through blockchain-native infrastructure instead of relying on hidden rules or centralized reporting.

MFY is not designed as a traditional financial product. It is structured as a Web3 participation protocol, where the ecosystem, token mechanics, smart contract functions, and on-chain activity can be reviewed directly through public blockchain tools.

### The MFY Approach

MFY follows a transparency-first approach.

Every relevant action should be understandable, traceable, and verifiable through public blockchain infrastructure. This includes token supply, transfers, contract interactions, burn activity, holders, and protocol-related transactions.

Instead of building around promises, MFY focuses on verifiable mechanics.

> **Transparency Principle**
>
> MFY does not ask users to blindly trust the protocol. It allows them to verify its activity on-chain.

### Built on Polygon

MFY is deployed on Polygon PoS, an Ethereum-compatible blockchain network designed for efficient, low-cost, and scalable transactions.

Polygon allows MFY to support faster ecosystem interactions, lower transaction costs, wallet compatibility, and broad access to Web3 infrastructure.

The MFY Token contract is publicly visible and verifiable through PolygonScan.

### What This Litepaper Covers

This litepaper explains the core structure of the MFY ecosystem, including:

* What MFY is
* How the protocol is structured
* The role of the MFY Token
* Smart contract transparency
* Lottery-based participation mechanics
* RewardFi positioning
* DEX and liquidity-related infrastructure
* Governance direction
* Security and risk considerations

The goal is to provide a clear overview of MFY for users, community members, developers, partners, and anyone interested in understanding the protocol.

### Important Disclaimer

This litepaper is for informational purposes only.

MFY is a Web3 participation protocol. It is not financial advice, not an investment product, and not an offer of securities.

Digital assets are volatile, experimental, and involve risk. Users should always do their own research before interacting with any blockchain protocol.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://mfytoken.gitbook.io/litepaper/protocol/introduction.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
